Battling the Stigma Surrounding Mental Health
Attending university can be a stressful time for many students. The shaming that often occurs when one is unable to manage the slew of academic, personal and co-curricular tasks, only propagates a negative environment which further strengthens the stigma around mental health. In this context, many young people experience the first onset of mental health problems during their university years. In collaboration with different universities, Pukaar aiming to set Mental Health Clinical Camps to provide treatment to the students who are in need.
